
CLPP's work focuses on the nexus of human rights and climate change. By threatening the lives, health, property, culture, and means of subsistence of indigenous and other vulnerable communities, climate change violates their fundamental human rights. We seek to protect these rights by helping vulnerable communities advocate for stronger targets, adaptation assistance, and inclusion in policy processes at all levels of government.
As part of these efforts, CLPP works closely with Many Strong Voices, a collaboration of Arctic and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) that have come together to take action on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
